Getting Started
Create your first punch list with project details and a cover photo, then add items with location, assignment, resolution date, comments, and photos.
Punch List is free to start on iPhone, iPad and Android, and the first list takes about a minute. These articles cover the first hour: what a list is and how people split a building into lists, the project details that print on the cover page of every report, how to add an item fast on the walk, and the two settings most teams change on day one, the company defaults and the field labels. Nothing here needs an account; a Pro subscription or a company seat only matters when you want to send reports and share lists.
Adding items to a list
How to add an item to a punch list: issue description, floor, room, sheet, assignment, resolution date, comments, and up to eight photos per item.
Company defaults and custom field labels
Put your company name and logo on every report automatically, rename the 14 field labels to match how your team talks, and manage the pick lists behind Floor, Room and Sheet.
Creating your first punch list
Start your first punch list in the Punch List app: name it, fill in the project details that print on reports, add a cover photo, and know what is free before you begin.
