The walkthrough
Built for the building you already run
Everything here ships in the app today, on iPhone, iPad and Android.
Your buildings, your words
Rename any of the 14 field labels. Floor, Room and Sheet become Building, Unit and Asset, or Property, Area and Equipment. Set your company name, logo and defaults once and every new list starts with them.
Timestamped photo evidence
Up to eight photos per item, straight from the camera, with automatic timestamps and drawing tools for circling the leak or the crack. The photo is the work order and the record for the file.
One list, one report per vendor
Assign each item to a trade or vendor as you walk, then filter by any combination of fields to see only what is open on one floor or for one vendor. When you generate the PDF, choose every item, open items only, or a custom selection, so the plumber never gets the painter's list.
Reports owners and boards accept
A branded cover page with your property details, every item with its photos inline, and an optional signature field for the contractor, tenant or inspector who was on the walk.
Works in the boiler room
Fully offline once activated. Basements, mechanical rooms, parking structures and elevator shafts are fine, and Pro stays active for up to 14 days without any connection.
Hand-offs that keep the photos
Export any list as a .pnch file and send it by Mail, Messages or AirDrop. The vendor or the next technician imports it on iPhone, iPad or Android with every photo and note intact.
Where it fits
The four walkthroughs facilities teams run with it
Unit turns and move-out inspections
Walk the unit once, photograph every scuff and leak with a timestamp, assign each item to the right trade, and send the vendor a PDF of only their items before you reach the parking lot.
Preventive maintenance walkthroughs
Rooftop units, boiler rooms, common areas, parking structures. Keep one list per building, filter by what is still open, and reuse last quarter’s file as the starting point for the next round.
Capital project and tenant improvement closeout
When a contractor finishes a renovation on your property, you hold the punch list. Document every open item with photos, collect a signature on the final report, and release the last payment with a record behind it.
Multi-site visits
District, regional and area managers walking stores, restaurants, branches or communities run one list per site, with the same labels everywhere, so the roll-up to the owner reads the same from every location.
What about the walkthrough you do every quarter?
There is no scheduled or auto-repeating inspection in the app today, and we would rather say so here than let you find out in October. What works now: export the finished walkthrough as a .pnch file and keep it with the building's records. Importing it later creates a fresh list with the same buildings, rooms, labels and items, so the last round is the starting point for the next one.
Shared lists that several people edit at once are the thing teams ask us for most. If recurring inspections or shared lists would change how your team works, tell us how you run them and we will let you know when either ships.

Staff on their own phones
Add each person by work email from your account page, one at a time or from a CSV. They sign in with a 6-digit code on any phone, personal or company, and Pro unlocks. Remove someone and the seat frees up right away.
Shared iPads in the shop or at the desk
Push one license key through Intune, Jamf Pro, Workspace ONE, Iru (formerly Kandji), Mosyle or Hexnode. Every managed device activates on first launch with nobody signing in. Step-by-step guides for each tool are on the deployment page.

Facilities FAQ
Questions property and facilities teams ask first
- Is Punch List only for construction?
- No. A punch list is any walkthrough that ends in a list of things to fix, and the app does not care whether the building is new. Facilities and property teams rename the fields (Floor, Room and Sheet become Building, Unit and Asset, for example), set their company details once, and run the same walkthrough they already do on paper.
- Can we use it for recurring inspections, like a quarterly walkthrough?
- Yes, with one step. Export the finished walkthrough as a .pnch file and keep it. Importing that file later creates a new list with the same buildings, rooms, labels and items, so last quarter’s walkthrough is this quarter’s starting point. There is no scheduled or auto-repeating inspection inside the app today.
- Can several technicians work the same list?
- Not at the same time. One person owns a list and passes it on as a .pnch file, which keeps photos and notes. Each technician signs in with their own work email and takes one seat, so the lists and reports they produce stay tied to a person.
- We have shared iPads in the maintenance shop. How are those licensed?
- With a license key pushed through your MDM (Intune, Jamf Pro, Workspace ONE, Iru (formerly Kandji), Mosyle or Hexnode). The device activates on first launch with nobody signing in. Named staff on their own phones use seats by email instead; the two routes work side by side on one license.
- Can we buy on a purchase order?
- Yes. Invoice or purchase order billing is available at any seat count, and we provide a W-9 and vendor registration forms on request. Teams that would rather not wait on procurement can buy 5 to 500 seats by card and download the invoice from the account page.
- Where does our inspection data live?
- On your devices. Lists and photos are stored locally on each phone or tablet, and there is no Punch List server holding your building data. Our security page lists exactly what the license service stores and who processes it, and a data processing addendum is available on request.
